When an expat couple living in Dubai reached out to me, they already had beautiful wedding photos from their celebration in Spain. But there was something missing: their new life in Dubai. They dreamed of an old money inspired couple session that felt elegant, timeless, and deeply connected to the city they now call home. Together with photographer Patryk Galucha, we designed a curated editorial session at the iconic Al Seef Heritage Hotel on Dubai Creek, turning their love story into a visual bridge between Spain and the Emirates.

Styling the Old Money Couple Photoshoot: Dress, Bag Bouquet and Details
As a luxury destination wedding planner and stylist, my role was to guide them through every aesthetic decision. We started with the wardrobe: a refined, structured dress with clean lines and a classic silhouette that would age beautifully in photos. To elevate the look, I designed a bespoke bag bouquet—a handcrafted floral piece that functions both as an accessory and as a modern heirloom. This detail instantly added that old money mood: understated luxury, intentional styling, and zero clichés.

Why We Chose Al Seef Heritage Hotel for Their Old Money Couple Photoshoot in Dubai
The setting was just as important as the outfits. Al Seef Heritage Hotel, nestled in the heritage district along Dubai Creek, combines earthy, reddish facades, textured walls and traditional architecture with rectangular lines, arcades and wind towers.
Those strong geometric lines frame the couple naturally, while the warm tones of the buildings and narrow souk-style walkways create a cinematic backdrop that feels both historic and intimate. It’s a location that tells a story before the couple even steps into the frame.
For this session, my goal was not only to create pretty images, but to design a cohesive narrative:
Spain represents where they said “I do”; Dubai represents where they are building their life together. By styling the shoot with a European old money sensibility—tailored fashion, a minimal yet rich bouquet design, and refined posing—within a heritage Emirati setting, we created a gallery that feels editorial, personal, and deeply anchored in their reality as expats.
